Beginning tomorrow, July 16, 2022, 988 will be the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
988 is available for those having thoughts of suicide, mental health or substance use crises, or any other kind of emotional distress. You can also dial 988 if you are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support. The Lifeline is available for everyone and is free, and confidential.
